Accelerating Employee Development

BTRC's half-day program, Accelerating Employee Development, uses David Kolb's Learning Styles Inventory to enhance understanding of the four leaning styles and the extent to which a manager's own learning style might influence the training/development opportunities he/she creates or recognizes for others.

This program assists managers in assessing employee development needs and then matching activities to employee learning styles by:

Distinguishing Training Objectives from Performance Objectives
Using Individual Development Plans
Recognizing and Constructing Effective Training Designs
Knowing How to Train One-to-One
Knowing How to Test for Understanding
Offering Encouragement and Support

An additional benefit of this program is that it enables participants to apply content to accelerating and managing their own learning/development.
